Mstislav Leopol'dovich Rostropovich


He is Mstislav Leopol'dovich Rostropovich who is one of famous cellists.
He is also one of teachers who teached Han-na Jang.
He is one of the greatest cellists.
He died in 2007 and many people said that one of the stars was gone.
I like his performaces because he always played various pieces perfectly.
I respect his works and his talants.
I always want to see him and his performances, but now I can't.

Haydn Cello concerto no.1 in C major

This is a perfomence that is played by Han-na Jang.

This piece is Concerto no.1 in C major that is composed by Haydn.

This piece is one of the famouse cello pieces.

When Han-na Jang played this piece with Orchestra, she was 13 years old.

Her perfomance made people surprised because she played perfectly.

I like her expression and playing.

Ludwig van Beethoven


He is Ludwig van Beethoven who is a very famous composer.
University of Minnesota school Orchestra will play Symphony no.3 that is composed by Beethoven.
He is one of the greatest composer I think.
He had a problem listening sounds, but he composed many wonderful pieces.
I like his works and I respect him a lot.

My Instrument


This is my instrumnet that is CELLO.
When I was 14 years old, My mom bought this cello for me.
Since I was a middle school student, I used this instrument.
I love sound of my cello and It will stay with me for a long time.

We are the world

When I tried to find my cello pieces, I found this song by accident.

Of course, this song is not related to my blog, but I want to introduce this song to you.

On October 7, 2009 , University Orchestra had a concert.

We played 2 pieces and this is one of the pieces.

This is Academic Festival Overture that is composed by Brahms.

We will play this music again on October 17.
